About Us
Our History
Established in 1948 by Late Mr. Abdul Kadir Khan and others, the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (MCES) is one of Pune’s oldest and most respected educational institutions. With a mission to uplift the economically, socially, and educationally weaker sections of society, MCES has grown from four humble schools into a vibrant educational hub known as Azam Campus.
Registered under the Society’s Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950), MCES is also recognized under Section 12(A) and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Today, the society offers quality education across diverse fields including Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Architecture, Dental Sciences, Hospitality, and more. Our state-of-the-art campus, complete with modern libraries, laboratories, digital classrooms, and sports complexes, fosters holistic development.
Recognized nationally, MCES was honored with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Literacy Award by the Government of India for its outstanding contribution to minority education. With a commitment to academic excellence, moral values, and inclusive growth, MCES continues to inspire and empower students across the nation.
